Opposite of Pleasure

In Life, pain has a very important role.
It is through pain that we are born and continue to experience it in various shades that color our future attempts to avoid it.
Growth hurts and none more so than denying what is normally satisfied with a readiness that can be often times embarrassing. It is the digging up of old boundaries and fortifing new ones.
It can be done, but isn’t always and so it’s said “it’s for the strong”. Perception gets in the way and meets up with rationalization that creates this wonderful little distraction.
